From the North (via the A1 and the A14)
Take the A14 and follow it to merge with the M11 at Junction 14. Leave the M11 at Junction 10, taking the A505.

From the West (via Bedford) on the A428
Leave the A428 at Madingley, take the A1303 towards Cambridge, join the M11 at Junction 13 and leave at Junction 10, taking the A505.

From the West (via Sandy) on the A603
Join the M11 at Junction 12 and leave at Junction 10, taking the A505.
